Garden Grooves at Ted Ensley Garden
Looking for an easy, feel-good reason to get outside this summer? Shawnee County Parks + Recreation has you covered with Garden Grooves, a free weekly concert series happening every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through July 28 at Ted Ensley Gardens on Lake Shawnee. Smaller ensembles from the Topeka Symphony Orchestra take over the gardens each week with themed sets, so no two evenings sound quite the same.
The Ted Ensley Gardens stretch 37.5 acres at Lake Shawnee and feature an impressive collection of plants, flowers, and insects. Enjoy a panoramic view of the lake in a beautiful and tranquil setting that’s been dubbed ‘world class’ by visitors every spring and summer.
