Together Topeka Riverbank Cleanup
Community members gathered in Topeka to help clean up a large area of the Kansas riverbank!
Community volunteers cleared trash from the levee on the south bank of the Kansas River near downtown, while the Kaw River Guides took care of the Topeka weir.
The Kansas River is the only source of drinking water for the city of Topeka, so keeping it healthy and thriving benefits everyone in Topeka, as well as everyone who lives downriver. Thanks to everyone for doing your part today!
